Complimentary Consultation

Pet Sitter holding Golden Retriever
You may email us to arrange your Complimentary Consultation; It will last approximately 20-30 minutes and is required before services can begin. Your Complimentary Consultation will allow you and your pet(s) to meet with your pet sitter or dog walker, and will allow us to learn where your pet's supplies are, go over their feeding schedule, verify his/her veterinarian, etc... Once we have agreed upon a good day and time to meet, we will email you with additional pet care info, including an online pet care profile form (no printer required). This form should be completely filled in and will give us the ability to properly care for your pet(s) in your absence.

Things to remember:

  • Pet care profile should be completely filled in and 100% up-to-date
  • If a house key is required, one should be made available during our Complimentary Consultation, or be left hidden outside for us; a return visit to obtain a house key may be arranged for a $10 fee (we can also return at our convenience to install a lock box prior to your departure (so you can hide the key inside for us) FREE of charge; subject to availability
  • Your pet(s) to be cared for should also be available during Complimentary Consultation

Key image for pet sitter or dog walkerIf you decide to use our services, we will request a copy of your house  key (if necessary to gain access); You may also choose to hide a key somewhere outside your home for us to retrieve on our first visit. Not comfortable with this? We can also supply you with a Shurlok® Lockbox to hide your key for extra added security (subject to availability). We will leave the key in the same place after each visit, unless you instruct us to keep the key for future pet care services. Because of liability concerns, we can not be held responsible for keys left hidden outside.

For greatest flexibility, you may choose to leave your house key in our possession so that subsequent visits can be easily arranged without a key exchange. This is especially helpful when there is an unexpected pet sitting need requiring you to leave town quickly. Keys left in our possession are tagged with a security code unrelated to your name or home address. They are kept in a locked security box in between visits.
